Independent Vetcare launches Farm Graduate Academy

IVC’s Graduate Academy has been running since 2014 and has been incredibly successful, with its inaugural graduate conference taking place earlier this year

Hot on the heels of this success, Independent Vetcare has announced a 100 percent Farm Graduate Academy Programme for 2019/2020.

The new programme starts in October of this year with help from our ever growing number of top class Farm practices and experts in IVC Evidensia, from dairy expert Peter Edmondson and many leading Veterinary support companies.

IVC’s Group Veterinary Advisor Donald Kingsnorth said, “We are very excited to be able to offer a 100 percent Farm Graduate Programme, covering subjects such as farm communication, pregnancy diagnosis, herd health & young stock management.

“This course will give graduates, who want to specialise in farm practice, essential skills to take out into the field.”

This is an Anglo-Dutch course with graduates coming from the UK and the Netherlands. The sessions will be in the UK and the Netherlands, giving graduates the chance to experience the industry in both countries.
