New FINADYNE solution available following a reformulation

The non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) FINADYNE (active ingredient flunixin meglumine) has been approved for use in the UK following reformulation by MSD Animal Health to allow its use in food-producing species.

FINADYNE 50mg/ml Solution for Injection is indicated for the alleviation of acute inflammation and pain in both cattle and pigs. The NSAID is also indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculo-skeletal disorders and colic in horses.

Reformulated FINADYNE 50mg/ml Solution for Injection has a shelf life of three years and is now available from wholesalers in 50ml and 100ml vials. Vets should contact their MSD Animal Health account manager for further information.
