Veterinary nurses urged to get creative this Christmas with TVM UK to prevent pet poisoning

In the run up to Christmas, TVM UK, the innovative animal health company, is offering veterinary nurses and receptionists the opportunity to win £500 in restaurant vouchers for their practice and help pet owners understand the dangers hiding in plain sight over the festive period

TVM UK has developed a board kit to help educate consumers on the common poisons found in the house over the Christmas period and are asking veterinary staff to decorate their practice with the kit which takes the form of a crime scene and details the household items and foods which are commonly found in houses over Christmas.

Will Peel, Marketing Manager at TVM UK explains:

“Christmas can be a very dangerous time for pets because while we’re enjoying the festivities, it’s easy to be distracted from what our pets are doing and with the hazardous objects, potentially poisonous foods and toxic substances about it’s essential that we, as veterinary professionals, help consumers to understand the dangers and keep their pets safe.

“We hope that this challenge will give veterinary staff an opportunity to creatively engage with their customers and help prevent the chances of pet poisoning this Christmas. And with £500 of restaurant vouchers up for grabs it’s a good opportunity to get the practice staff celebrating together this Christmas too!”

To enter, simply request a board kit by emailing help@tvm-uk.com and post the photo of your display on the TVM UK Facebook page with the practice name and use #TVMXMASParty. The winner will be drawn at random on 20 December 2019 and will be announced on the TVM UK Facebook page.
