VetsNorth programme to deliver unparalleled CPD

The 2019 VetsNorth programme promises to deliver cutting-edge veterinary education from world renowned speakers; Veterinary Practice readers can enjoy a 15 percent discount on tickets with the code VPMAG15 at checkout

Delegates can choose from 27 hours of bespoke CPD across the subject areas of small animal medicine, small animal surgery and veterinary nursing. Tickets will allow delegates to switch between lecture streams – meaning that your CPD can have a multi-disciplinary focus. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&A on hot topics in the veterinary industry at the end of the first day. This will be the perfect opportunity to learn about the challenges facing the profession, raise your concerns with leading experts and receive real individual advice on issues your practice is currently facing.
Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions in advance to vetsnorth@5mpublishing.com or on twitter using #VetsNorth. The conference will also feature an exhibition of the veterinary industry’s leading companies, allowing you to get hands on with the latest products and equipment.

VetsNorth will be taking place from 12-13 June at the MMU Business School in Manchester. The Business School is a stylish, prestigious venue located just off Oxford Road in the heart of the city. The 2019 VetsNorth venue is well connected by sustainable transport options, ensuring that the conference is easily accessible to delegates from across the north west.

VetsNorth delegates will hear lectures focusing on the endocrine system. For those attending the small animal medicine series, this includes presentations on Cushing’s syndrome in the cat, how to treat unstable diabetic canines, pancreatitis in dogs and feline hypoadrenocorticism. Delegates focusing on small animal surgery can hear lectures on adrenalectomy in the dog, surgical treatment for feline hyperthyroidism and parathyroidectomy in the dog. Veterinary nurses can attend two days of CPD that will focus on treating emergency cases in practice, effective bandaging and multi-modal analgesia.

The friendly, regional size of VetsNorth means that attendees are sure to engage with speakers and other veterinary professionals while gaining high-quality CPD. The conference will bring delegates closer to leading expert speakers, allow them to ask questions and seek real, individual advice on cases they face in practice. This is the perfect opportunity to engage with leading veterinary experts and transform your CPD.
