Askham Bryan College Veterinary Nursing Department to hold its third annual congress

The event goes virtual for 2021, taking place on 15 February

Askham Bryan College Veterinary Nursing department will be
holding its virtual conference on Monday 15 February
2021, 9am-5pm. The event will include over ten speakers who will
present developments and research in Veterinary Nursing. It will also
offer virtual breakout rooms where attendees can
network with virtual industry stalls which offer a range of
services in the field. Professionals and students from the industry are
invited to attend.

Sarah Reynolds-Golding, Head of the Veterinary
Nursing Department says, “We are thrilled to welcome our guests and
speakers to a new and accessible format for this year’s
conference. The response has been positive as we have more time and space
online to bring in additional industry stalls from
last previous years and offer accessible recordings of the
presentations post-event. The virtual congress is a
fantastic opportunity that enables us to bring
together many professionals so we can share current practice
and upcoming developments”.

Racheal Marshall, Head of Clinical Nursing at Vets
Now
says, “It’s great to have everyone take part in the
Congress. I am really looking forward to speaking at the
event; even though we cannot meet in person we are all still able to come
together to learn, share our experiences and network with nursing
colleagues”.

To register for the event, attendees can contact the Askham Bryan College
Veterinary Nursing Team at tracey.seymour@askham-bryan.ac.uk.
The cost to attend the online event is £20 which includes
the full day of speakers, networking opportunities and access to the lectures
post-event.
