In November 2020 Colourful CPD, the provider of the British Veterinary Receptionist Association’s (BVRA) Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award (AVR), became a Lantra Customised Provider and gained official accreditation for the AVR award.
Lantra are one of the leading awarding bodies for land-based industries in the UK and Ireland. They develop quality training courses and nationally recognised qualifications that are regulated by Ofqual. Lantra work with the very best training provider companies, instructors and assessors and have been delivering high quality, specialist training for over 40 years.
Having undertaken the bronze, silver, and gold levels of the AVR award over the last year, the first cohort of BVRA candidates have now achieved their Lantra certification.
BVRA co-founder Kay Watson-Bray expressed the importance and value of this accreditation and having Colourful CPD’s training quality assured by a nationally recognised Awarding Organisation. “It gives our learners reassurance that our courses have been created and are delivered to the high standard required to achieve this status. Our Accredited Veterinary Receptionist course being accredited by Lantra, means that we confidently provide this course with an independent mark of quality.”
The BVRA seeks to recognise and raise the status of veterinary receptionists within the UK’s veterinary profession and enable career progression by up-skilling through training and certification. The BVRA does this by acting as a professional body which focuses on the interests of veterinary receptionists as well as evolving the receptionist’s role through affordable CPD and training.
Congratulations to the new Lantra Accredited Veterinary Receptionists!
