Free PetsApp workshop on imposter syndrome

Katie Ford joins the PetsApp team to offer workshop to give some tips and tricks on how to combat this encroaching problem

Veterinary leaders are invited to attend a free online panel on the topic of imposter syndrome, hosted by veterinary communications provider PetsApp.

Following a 2020 study from the BVA – where it was revealed that an alarming 68 pervent of veterinarians are susceptible to imposter syndrome – Katie Ford joins the PetsApp team to offer a free workshop to give some tips and tricks on how to combat this encroaching problem.

Katie is a leading figure in the fight against imposter syndrome in veterinary, coaching professionals towards realising their self-value on a one-to-one basis and through longer taught courses. She speaks more about her journey towards working with others as a guest on the PetsApp Podcast.

“As a coach to many veterinary professionals, I frequently see that even the most accomplished team members experience internal voices of doubt, inadequacy, and comparison. I’m looking forward to joining the PetsApp Webinar Series to explain how we can create a clinic culture that feeds self-confidence and brings teams together, rather than leaving individuals isolated,” says Katie Ford (Vet, Coach and Speaker).

“I’ve learnt a lot talking to Katie Ford previously about imposter syndrome. She has a huge wealth of real-world experience tackling the topic, and tells her powerful story with incredible eloquence. With studies showing that thousands of veterinarians – particularly women – suffer from this toxic feeling, I’m glad we’re able to provide a free platform to continue the demystification of imposter syndrome,” says Thom Jenkins (CEO and Co-Founder, PetsApp).

The event is held on Thursday 1 July at 7.15pm BST, and attendees can register for free.
