Investing in candidates

“It’s important to us that candidates understand the value we put on determining their skills, their wants, their needs – but also that we are keen to invest in their careers; we want them to succeed in their roles. We really do take pride in the quality of our placements. Our client retention rate is 92 percent and I think that number speaks for itself,” explained Tony Noble, Managing Director and Founder of veterinary recruitment consultancy Noble Futures.

“This is why this giveaway, in collaboration with Improve International, is so close to my heart. We are determined to invest in our candidates’ career, rather than simply fill the gaps where our clients need staff. We are looking to give something back to the brilliant veterinary surgeons to whom we owe so much – not only for being at the heart of our business, but also for the care and protection that they provide to the many animals in our lives.”

“Improve International is dedicated to developing careers, improving practice performance and driving advancements in veterinary education. That’s why they are the perfect choice for our Veterinary CPD Giveaway, as training nurtures talent and our mission is to match that talent to opportunity. Like Improve International, we are working to advance the careers of veterinary surgeons with an ambition to succeed.”

What can the vouchers be used for?

Two voucher types are up for grabs in this giveaway with Noble Futures, and can be used on either modular courses or practical surgery or ultrasound courses with Improve International.

Modular courses

The 10 £250 vouchers up for grabs can be used towards one of Improve International’s modular programmes, designed to help you achieve a further qualification – a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert), a Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) or a General Practitioner Advanced Certificate (GPAdvCert). The majority of the programmes are also approved for application to the RCVS Advanced Practitioner Status.

These programmes are designed with a mixture of in-person elements and practical components to ensure a well-rounded education, or you can even choose to learn remotely with Improve International’s new distance learning courses.

There are plenty of subject areas to choose from too, all relevant to everyday clinical practice, such as small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, cardiology, etc. More information about the different modular programmes available can be found on the Improve International website.

Practical surgery or ultrasound courses

If you were to win one of the 50 £50 vouchers, these can be used on Improve International’s world-class practical surgery and ultrasound short courses.

With many options to choose from, such as introduction to orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery masterclass, big practical weekend, introduction to small animal ultrasound and many more, there are courses for everyone no matter your current level of expertise!
