The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) have announced that the Vetty Awards, the marketing competition dedicated to animal health, is returning after being postponed last year due to the impact of COVID-19.
The world’s leading provider of veterinary education, the NAVC, introduced the Vettys in 2017. The competition recognizes and rewards the marketing, advertising, public relations, digital, social, design, events, promotions and educational materials created on behalf of large and small animals, pet pharmaceuticals, foods, diagnostic equipment, professional associations, advocacy groups and more.
The Vetty’s eligibility has been expanded this year to include all work produced between January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021. Several new categories dedicated to the digital and virtual experiences that have become increasingly popular over the last two years have also been added.
Participants can enter their work via the Vetty’s website until 30 November. Entries submitted by 15 November will receive a discounted rate.
Gold, silver and bronze winners will be unveiled at the NAVC’s annual Veterinary Meeting & Expo (VMX) 2022, which runs from 15 to 19 January, 2022 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and everywhere virtually. Each year it attracts thousands of veterinary professionals from around the globe.
The best of show, Judge’s Awards and NAVC Spotlight winner will be revealed live on-stage before VMX’s traditional Monday night concert.
“The Vettys have become a signature part of VMX, and something so many of our exhibitors and attendees look forward to each year,” said NAVC CEO Gene O’Neill. “We’re really excited to announce this year’s competition and can’t wait to reward all of the amazing work that’s been produced in these extraordinary times.”
More details on categories, entry fees and how to enter can be found on the Vetty’s website.
