Ceva Animal Health would like to reassure cattle practices about the continued availability of its progesterone releasing device, PRID DELTA.
The move follows reports of inaccurate information being discussed with vets about a PRID DELTA stock issue. PRID DELTA has continued to be available in packs of 100, only some of its packs of 10 have been affected in the short term. The company would like to apologise for any convenience caused to clients and is working hard to increase production of PRID DELTA 10s with new stock in the wholesalers in the first week of July.
The issue, identified in May, led to a company-initiated recall at wholesaler level of a small number of identified batch numbers of product. For these batches only, an accompanying “Caution in Use letter” has been issued to veterinary clinics.
