Toolkit to reduce stress in veterinarian staff

A new digital toolkit has been created specifically to support the mental wellbeing of people in caring professions

A new digital toolkit has been created specifically to support the mental wellbeing of people in caring professions, such as vets.

The pandemic has intensified the mental health challenges already being felt by those working in caring professions with the number of staff feeling the strain set to increase (74 percent of vets are “quite or very concerned” about stress and burnout, source BVA).

The Overcome Overwhelm Toolkit is packed with everything caring professionals need to bring down their overwhelm, handle challenges and change, feel back in control, support themselves and move forward with calm confidence.

The online Toolkit is available in your pocket 24/7 so you can choose what you need when you need it. From the extensive menu you can select what challenge you need support with, from feeling things are too hard to deal with to not feeling in control to wanting to feel calm quickly and so much more.

All the content is available to read or listen to broken down into less than 10mins-long bitesize chunks making it instantly accessible. Within a few minutes you’ll be equipped with practical tools, grounded in positive psychology, empowering you to feel calm and in control.

The Overcome Overwhelm Toolkit has been created by mindset and positive psychology coach Gabrielle Treanor in consultation with people from a variety of caring professions.

Find out more about the Toolkit and how it can support those working in your organisation at Gabrielle Treanor‘s website.
