Veterinary Health Research Centers launches clinical research programs for animal health, pharma and medical device companies

Veterinary Health Research Centers LLC (VHRC) is launching new clinical research capabilities with a global network of veterinary practices to expedite clinical trials that lead to breakthroughs for safe and effective new products, medications, therapies and devices for companion pets.

VHRC Certified Practices provide comprehensive clinical study solutions for large and small pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, entrepreneurs and innovators worldwide, delivering faster and efficient cost-effective clinical trials.

“Data-driven evidence is critical today in demonstrating efficacy of advanced treatment options before they are approved. Using companion animals with naturally-occurring ailments like kidney and heart disease, cancer and obesity makes sense since the response to many treatments are similar in dogs, cats, and people,” says VHRC Founder and CEO Joel Ehrenzweig.

The exclusive network of veterinary clinical trial sites – including general practices and specialty hospitals featuring advanced equipment and expert skill sets – enables VHRC to supply real-world results from proof-of-concept to commercialization.

Rob Hunter, chief science and regulatory officer, added: “Each VHRC Certified Practice site receives GCP, EDC and technology-specific training as part of a rigorous site validation/due diligence process prior to the initiation of all studies. VHRC Certified Practices include acclaimed regional referral centers and niche specialists that can focus on fulfilling, often esoteric, patient-enrollment requirements.”

Among the trials already underway at VHRC for B-Cure Lasers focused on treating knee, spine, hip joint and gingivitis, especially in senior dogs and cats.

Sponsors and companies seeking more information can email VHRC or call 1-804-601-4440.
