Virtual Head Nurse Congress is back this September, and open for registrations

Congress is aimed specifically at head veterinary nurses and practice managers, exploring the responsibilities and challenges behind the roles

The College of Animal Welfare’s next virtual Head Nurse Congress is taking place on Thursday 16 September 2021, and is now open for registrations!

Head Nurse Congress is aimed specifically at head veterinary nurses and practice managers, exploring the responsibilities and challenges behind the roles. During the online event, delegates will be able to listen to a variety of relevant lectures from expert speakers, hear from a range of industry exhibitors and gain 8 hours of CPD – all from the comfort of their own home or workplace.

September’s congress is sponsored by the Veterinary Management Group (VMG) and will feature lectures looking at how to conduct appraisals, develop assertiveness, manage time and delegate effectively and much more.

Claire Gregory, Short Course and Events Administrator at The College of Animal Welfare, said: “After a successful digital debut in March, we’re delighted to be able to host another Head Nurse Congress in September. Delivering the event online means we’re able to welcome speakers and attendees from all over the UK, and offer a fantastic opportunity for head nurses to gain valuable CPD virtually.” She added: “We are looking forward to, what is set to be, another successful virtual congress.”

Book before 16 July 2021 to attend congress at the early bird rate!

Delegates who book their place before 16 July 2021 can attend Head Nurse Congress for the discounted early bird price of £125+VAT – saving £60! A full event agenda, and further details about how to book, can be found online or by calling 01480 422060.
