$11,000 raised for vet suicide prevention

Suveto presented a check of $11,805 to Not One More Vet at the recent American Veterinary Medical Association convention in Philadelphia

At the recent American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) convention in Philadelphia, Suveto, a company dedicated to veterinary practice ownership and well-being, presented a check of US$11,805 to Not One More Vet (NOMV), an organization dedicated to preventing suicide within the veterinary industry.

Suveto, which places its own emphasis on supporting veterinarian and vet tech mental health and wellbeing, raised the funds through an employee fitness “Move Challenge.”

At AVMA, Suveto also announced the launch of Graduate to Ownership (GO), an industry-first fellowship that gives new graduates a hands-on ownership clinical experience.

Ten percent of a GO participants’ paid work time is solely dedicated to their personal growth and education, in keeping with NOMV’s mission of providing support.
