Advanced veterinary nursing congress to launch in September

The College of Animal Welfare is set to launch its first advanced veterinary nursing congress on 1 September

Advanced veterinary nursing congress is a one-day virtual event that explores advanced professional practice, focusing on advanced veterinary nursing skills and knowledge.

Sponsored by Medivet, the college’s first congress of this kind will host a fantastic line up of industry professionals, who will be speaking on topics including nursing the diabetic patient, how human factors influence patient safety, loco-regional anaesthetic block techniques, interpreting capnography and more.

Advanced veterinary nursing congress delegates will be able to network with fellow veterinary nurses, as well as enjoy a virtual exhibition from leading companies including Vets4Pets, VetSkill and Medivet.

Claire Gregory, CPD and events manager at The College of Animal Welfare, said: “Advanced veterinary nursing congress provides veterinary nurses with the ideal opportunity to enhance their professional practice, network with fellow nurses, and achieve 7 hours of CPD.

“We are looking forward to launching another valuable opportunity for learning and development.”

Delegates who book their place at Advanced veterinary nursing congress before 8 July 2022 can attend the college’s first congress for the discounted early bird price of £125+VAT, a saving of £60.

A full event agenda and further details about how to book can be found on the Congress website or by calling 01480 422060.
