University of Cambridge speakers to share clinical insights

RCVS Queen’s Medal Winner Professor Mike Herrtage and other specialists from Cambridge vet school will discuss their most memorable cases and key clinical insights in a free online roundtable with Improve International

The veterinary community will have the opportunity to hear the most memorable cases and key clinical insights from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Queen’s Medal winner Professor Mike Herrtage and specialis speakers from the University of Cambridge Department of Veterinary Medicine in Improve International’s free online roundtable on Wednesday 27 July 2022 at 8pm.

Improve International has been working with University of Cambridge since the inception of its new veterinary Academy Series which launched earlier this year. So far, it has offered month-long semesters comprising of online lessons in brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) and canine and feline oncology. Semesters to follow later in the year are canine and feline cardiology, neurology and equine oncology.

In this online roundtable discussion, internationally recognised Professor Mike Herrtage will be in conversation with Academy Series’ speakers including, Catheryn Partington, BVSc, CertAVP(VC), MSc, MRCVS, and Jose Matos, DVM, DipECVIM (Cardiology), MRCVS, European and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Cardiology (canine and feline cardiology) and Paul Freeman, MA, VetMB, Cert SAO, Dip ECVN, MRCVS, (European and RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Neurology) (canine and feline neurology).

Throughout the online event, they will be sharing how the Academy Series can help vet professionals meet their annual CPD targets, learn through self-assessment and reflective study and bring them to the forefront of medicine in several specialist areas by the end of the year.
