Audevard Laboratories are innovating with EKYGARD+, a new, more complete and concentrated formula integrating all the European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) recommendations.
This new product offers triple reinforced gastric protection, providing comfort to horses that will benefit it and supporting their daily life.
The EKYGARD+ formula concentrates all the ingredients recommended by the ECEIM for the management of gastric discomfort in horses.
In addition to the original formula, Audevard’s vets have added these latest generation ingredients to EKYGARD+: Pectigard Complex (pectin-lecithin), magnesium hydroxide, sea buckthorn berries and probiotics.
This innovation stems from a real need: 60 percent of horses are subject to gastric discomfort, 40 percent of them showing no clinical signs. The associated consequences are often a loss of condition and a drop in performance.
To enable affected horses to regain their well-being and express their full potential, it is essential to protect their stomachs from gastric acidity.
Thanks to this combination of scientifically validated ingredients, EKYGARD+ provides triple protection for the horse’s stomach: reducing acidity, protecting the mucosa and supporting the flora.
This new formula also respects the physiology of the horse, containing no ingredients of animal origin, no colourings and being low in sugar.
