The Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS)’s 2022 Fee Survey is now available to complete online.
In the current climate it is more important than ever to have an understanding of the fees charged across the veterinary profession. How does one practice’s fees vary from their neighbours? Vets are encouraged to complete the survey – everyone who completes it, will receive a copy of the results.
Salaries have increased, vets are becoming a rare species and in order to pay these higher salaries, it is important to understand and to keep up with current market rates as vets are starting to charge more appropriately for their professional time.
SPVS Fee Survey 2022 covers small animals, large animals and equine in all aspects of preventative health care and surgery. Also included are figures on repeat prescription charges, the routine use of analgesia and antibiotics in neutering and lab interpretation fees.
Results of the SPVS Fee Survey 2022 will form a document showing lower, median and upper quartiles for these fees so vets can see how they compare and how this varies from the last survey.
