Veterinary PR and marketing agency Companion Consultancy has announced the launch of Vetti, a subscription-based learning portal designed to help veterinary teams develop their marketing skills.
With practice teams taking ever more responsibility for social media and marketing, they increasingly need to keep abreast of marketing techniques, and the Vetti portal aims to make this easy to achieve. The expert-led content includes exclusive courses and resources to help busy veterinary professionals save time while reaping better results. As well as helping practice teams, the content will also prove useful to veterinary professionals considering a more diversified career.
Vetti will give members access to courses, guides, and content packages on a wide range of topics including how to set appropriate marketing goals, how to define a social media strategy and the best way to write practice leaflets. Free printable resources including guides and templates are also provided to make it easy for teams to apply their learnings to practice.
Vetti’s Course Coordinator and Companion Consultancy’s Head of Digital Marketing Naomi Oikonomou explains how the learning platform will save time and energy for veterinary professionals. “Members of the practice team increasingly find themselves having to look after business social media accounts and marketing, but people don’t always have training in this so it can be difficult,” she says. “If you don’t know your way around marketing it can feel like a time sink, and it’s hard to know if the effort you’re putting in is really giving you results. The idea with Vetti is to give a handy overview of the key areas so vet teams can be confident they’re getting value from their time.”
The first modules focus on social media, which has become a significant marketing task for many practices. For the common platforms of Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, the training covers all that a business will need to launch their social media strategy or get it back on track. Future modules will run through different PR activities and the portal will be regularly updated with new lessons, including talks from vet marketing leaders and guest speakers.
It is unusual to be able to access this expert knowledge in a format specifically tailored to veterinary practices and the team at Companion Consultancy is proud to lead the way in this area. Companion is one of the longest-standing specialist PR and marketing agencies in the animal health and veterinary sector, and Naomi explains that the team’s up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends and techniques is complemented by their insight into the veterinary world.
“At Companion we’re lucky to have several vets on the team and that gives us an understanding of what vet practices need to know when it comes to marketing,” she says. “Across the team we’ve enjoyed distilling our insights into bite-sized lessons that are really relevant to veterinary practices.”
The Vetti modules are structured into short lessons that are easy to fit in around busy schedules. At the end of each module, there is a quiz to consolidate learning and generate a certificate for record-keeping. Subscribers benefit from support by email, as well as the chance to interact in the private Facebook community group and in the Vetti online study forum, where members can discuss their learnings with other students and module invigilators.
New subscribers are encouraged to use the discount code VETTI10 to get 10 percent off the first month’s subscription. The code is valid until the end of July. All those interested can find out more about Vetti and subscribe at the website.
