Animalcare partners with StreetVet to provide pawsome veterinary products

Three Animalcare products will be part of the kit that the volunteer vet teams take on outreach to help treat pets with common conditions

Animalcare is delighted to announce that it has partnered with StreetVet to provide the charity with veterinary products to help treat the pets of those experiencing homelessness across the UK.

Three Animalcare products will be part of the kit that the volunteer vet teams take on outreach to help treat pets with common conditions. The products are Daxocox, which is the only weekly NSAID for osteoarthritis for dogs; Clevor, an emetic eye drop for dogs; and Aurimic, an ear treatment for cats and dogs.

StreetVet is an award-winning national charity that delivers free, accessible vet care and services to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness. The charity is now supported by over 600 vet and vet nurse volunteers who swap the practice for the pavement in 24 locations across the UK, from Glasgow to Cornwall and beyond.

Collette Sheaff, head of marketing at StreetVet said:

“We are pleased to welcome Animalcare to our roster of partners. The products will be invaluable to our volunteer vets and vet nurses and to the pets that they support. As a completely self-funded charity, we are always extremely grateful to anyone who offers us donations, whether in the form of products for our backpacks, the provision of services or financial support, so this contribution is really welcome.”

Toyah Parker, corporate key accounts manager at Animalcare said:

“At Animalcare, we take our commitment to giving back to the wider community very seriously, so we are really pleased to have this opportunity to support StreetVet, which provides much-needed care to the pets of people who are experiencing homelessness.”
