“Bitesize” canine Cushing’s syndrome CPD webinar series

Dechra is hosting a ‘bitesize’ Cushing’s syndrome CPD webinar series to share practical tips and information on canine Cushing’s syndrome

The six free evening webinars, which are between 30 minutes and 45 minutes in length, start on Tuesday 10 December and run until Tuesday 21 January. They will be presented by leading experts including: Professor Ian Ramsey BVSc PhD DSAM DipECVIM-CA FHEA FRCVS, professor of small animal medicine at the University of Glasgow (Figure 1); Ellen Behrend VMD PhD DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine), Joezy Griffin professor in the department of clinical sciences and an alumni professor at Auburn University in the USA; Professor Jill Maddison BVSc DipVetClinStud PhD FACVSc SFHEA MRCVS, professor of general practice at The Royal Veterinary College and Imogen Schofield BVSc MSc (VETEPI) PhD MRCVS, director of clinical research at the CVS Group.

The webinar series will focus on the diagnosis, management and treatment of dogs with Cushing’s and will feature information on Dechra’s predictor tool, which is available on the Dechra Endocrine App, to help vets identify and progress suspected Cushingoid cases to a definitive diagnosis. The webinars will also cover the importance of ongoing monitoring to optimise control of the syndrome and practical tips and tricks to help owners maximise compliance and optimise the quality of life of patients.

  • 8.00pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday 7 January – machine learning: an innovative tool in the diagnosis of canine Cushing’s syndrome – Imogen Schofield BVSc MSc (VETEPI) PhD MRCVS. Register
