The National Office of Animal Health (NOAH)’s One Health Conference, “Animal health and securing our future – a vital connection”, will take place on 1 February 2024 at One Great George Street in Westminster.

The event is not only open to NOAH members but to all those interested in the contribution animal health makes to one health and sustainability.

Tickets are £75: book via Eventbrite here.

NOAH Conference 2024 will examine the contribution of animal disease prevention to sustainable food production, as well as the importance of innovation and how we can remove some of the barriers to its adoption.

With a general election expected later this year, there is the opportunity to hear the perspective from different political views.

The programme includes confirmed presentations from Daniel Zeichner, MP, the Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Farming, and Stuart Roberts, chair of the Liberal Democrats’ Food and Farming Working Group.

Gavin Hall, director of authorisations and deputy CEO at the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) will speak on the future regulatory framework for veterinary medicines and its importance to One Health and Sustainability.

The NOAH Conference 2024 programme opens with a fascinating panel debate on “Future One Health and Innovation”.

This features ABP chair and professor of sustainable beef and sheep systems at Harper Adams University Jude Capper, poultry consultant and freelance journalist Tom Woolman, British Veterinary Association president Anna Judson and executive director of HealthforAnimals, Carel du Marchie Sarvaas.

Set in a magnificent Grade II-listed, four-domed, Edwardian building, the NOAH Conference venue for 2024 is very close to the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St James’s Park in London.
