International Cat Care introduce the world feline congress 2025

Global charity, International Cat Care (iCatCare), introduce the World Feline Congress 2025, their flagship annual CPD event, and invite members of iCatCare Veterinary Society (formerly ISFM) and veterinary professionals worldwide to join them in Edinburgh, UK, from 27-29 June 2025

This year’s congress theme is new beginnings: advancing the wellbeing of cats through medicine and management. Three streams of expert-led CPD and learning will be delivered over three days, focused on how to optimise the care and wellbeing of feline patients from the very start of life through to adulthood. The 2025 programme features an advanced veterinary stream, exploring what’s new in feline practice, from medicine to neurology, surgery, ECC and more, and a two-day dedicated stream for veterinary nurses and nurse technicians.

“We are excited to welcome more veterinary professionals to our world feline congress 2025 than ever before”, says Nicola Martin FRCVS, iCatCare CEO. “Our new name and the changes to this year’s programme reflect our commitment to supporting all veterinary professionals from across the globe to develop their knowledge and understanding of best practices in feline care. We look forward to seeing many of our iCatCare Veterinary Society members at this year’s congress, and we encourage all vets, vet nurses and technicians at any stage in their career to consider joining us in Edinburgh, to gain practical knowledge and skills to implement in their daily work.”

This year’s exceptional line-up of speakers will explore topics on the theme of new beginnings in-depth, from prenatal care of the queen to a multidisciplinary approach to common health problems in kittens. The three-stream programme is tailored to veterinary professionals at all levels of feline expertise, and delegates can expect traditional theatre-style lectures from world renowned feline experts, interactive panel discussions, in-depth knowledge sharing and more. Vets attending the three-day vet stream can achieve 21.5 hours of CPD and vet nurses attending the two-day nursing stream can achieve 13.5 hours of CPD. All veterinary delegates will achieve learning outcomes that include increased knowledge and confidence with feline patients in their earliest life stages.

The world feline congress 2025 takes place at the Edinburgh international conference centre. Located in Scotland’s historic and cultural capital city, Edinburgh is a treasure trove of history, architecture, and natural beauty for visitors to enjoy. Alongside this year’s extensive learning programme, the ticket price includes a varied itinerary of social events and networking opportunities across the three days, aimed at bringing together a global community of veterinary experts and professionals, alongside this year’s event sponsors and exhibitors, all committed to improving the lives of cats. World feline congress 2025 tickets are now on sale.
