Jess Irving, BSc(Hons), MRes, PGCertLTHE, FHEA, is an academic member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors, a student member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and a BBSRC-funded PhD candidate at the University of Manchester. Jess is interested in the links between physiology and behaviour in dogs and horses, particularly neuroendocrine influences, and building life skills, confidence and dog/human relationships through training.
