Margot Morel

Margot Morel, DVM, MRCVS, graduated from the University of Budapest (international section) in 2023. She conducted her undergraduate internships in zoos and rescue centres worldwide and wrote her final DVM thesis on captive shark nutrition with the Budapest Zoo. Margot is now an intern in exotics at Great Western Exotics (UK). She is developing a PhD thesis on elephant­–human coexistence with Portsmouth, Nottingham and Pretoria universities. She also aims to pursue a master’s in wildlife health management and conservation, as she is very passionate about this field.
