Laura Binnie

Laura has been a small animal vet since 2010 and has been involved in making the veterinary profession more sustainable since 2020. Laura is the sustainability lead at Paragon Veterinary Group and a sustainability coordinator for XLVets. She became a core member of Vet Sustain’s Greener Veterinary Practice working group in 2022, being instrumental in creating resources, webinars and content. Laura is passionate about all aspects of sustainability in the profession and has been awarded the “Greenest vet” personality 2024 by the Webinar Vet. Paragon Veterinary Group also received the “Greenest large practice” award in 2024, and the group was the first practice to achieve the RCVS PSS Environmental Sustainability award and Investors in the Environment Green award. Laura is a nominee for the Women in Green Business Awards 2025.
