Lorna Humphreys

Lorna Humphreys has worked in the canine industry for over 28 years and is a provisional animal behaviour technician (ABT) member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC)*. She is a national award-winning competition groomer, holding the highest industry-recognised qualifications possible: the Licentiateship (LCGI) and membership of the Guild of Master Groomers. Lorna has recently qualified as an animal behaviour technician. She owns and runs the salon Nose 2 Tail Grooming and incorporates canine behaviour, with growing focus on how to assist other groomers, when working with dogs.

*ABTs design and implement programmes to provide preventative and first-aid behavioural advice, and work with Clinical Animal Behaviourists or Veterinary Behaviourists. Provisional members all have the required knowledge and understanding and are in the process of gaining the necessary experience to fulfil the required performance criteria to apply for full membership.
