Designed to inspire and empower veterinary professionals across all disciplines, CVS Learning Live will host 14 sessions over the two days, delivering 500 minutes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The programme will feature 17 expert speakers from across CVS Group, including leaders in clinical practice, veterinary nursing, telemedicine, equine care and professional development.
Sessions will offer cutting-edge clinical insights and practical strategies to; empower clinicians in their daily practice; support the growth of developing team members; build cohesive, high-performing veterinary teams; and, enhance coaching and leadership capabilities.
Clinical topics will range from bone marrow biopsies and neurological examinations, to emergency diagnostics and perioperative analgesia. Professional discussions will focus on clinical freedom or clinical guidance, and why career progression is more than certificates or practice ownership. While leadership and management sessions will cover supporting new graduates and adopting the right coaching mindset.
Among the speakers are Tara Ryan, CVS chief veterinary officer; Laurent Garosi, clinical director of CVS’ Vet Oracle Teleradiology; Kieran Borgeat, specialist in Veterinary Cardiology at CVS’ Bristol Vet Specialists; Emma Cooper, head veterinary surgeon at CVS’ Bell Equine; Alan Johnson, regional clinical lead at CVS; and Mark Moreton, CVS director of Learning & Development.
