Laura George

Laura George, RVN, DipHECVN, DipAVN (Small Animal), NCertA&CC, CertVN ECC, VTS (SAIM), is an experienced registered veterinary nurse, currently working as a nurse course coordinator and content editor at Improve Veterinary Education. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2010, moving into the internal medicine department at Dick White Referrals (DWR) Veterinary Specialists the same year. Throughout her 11-year career at DWR, Laura worked in both the internal medicine and emergency and critical care departments, obtaining multiple advanced veterinary nursing qualifications. She is currently studying for an MSc in advanced practice veterinary nursing. Laura has written for and contributed to national and international veterinary and veterinary nursing journals and has presented at the ACVIM Forum and BVNA Congress.
